We missed out on Nana and Papa's Pumpkin Patch Day at Hillcrest Farms this year. That was a bummer :( Last weekend we were in town with Daddy and saw this pumpkin patch in the parking lot so we stopped by. Colby was elated to be there! I don't think he minded that it didn't have a hay ride or a train or any bells and whistles. He was excited about the painted signs and the million different kinds of pumpkins there.
Maci did not quite understand the purpose of this sign...
Both of them kept picking up every pumpkin they could carry and tried to put it in our wagon. We had to teach them a little lesson on being selective.
Boo!
Say Pumpkin :)
We ended up with two white ones (we couldn't resist) and two orange ones.
And two peanuts :)
We decided that the white pumpkins would be perfect for painting on. Maci wanted to make her white pumpkin orange anyway!
And Colby made his a little more colorful...
Here's a little bit of the action...
Orange ones haven't been carved yet. I'm worried if we do them to early they'll rot. So that will be another post!
