Major Flop

Saw this pin on pinterest:

"Rainy day activity... make bouncy balls with Elmer's glue, borax, and cornstarch! So fun!"

 

So we decided to try it out!

I was so excited about it, I even took pictures of the process, for goodness sakes.

We followed the instructions exactly.

And we came out with this:

It was basically a ball of dough.  It wasn't colorful, it didn't harden, and it most definitely did not bounce.

We tried again, and again.  Followed instructions exactly, tweaked them a little, various attempts.

 

Major pinterest flop.

I guess you really can't believe everything you read online.
