You don't have to pull a handcart

We had a pioneer parade for Pioneer Day this year.
We decorated the bike and wagon in pioneer style!

Colby was a strong driver to pull such a heavy load!

Camille and Avery ready for the parade!

It was quite a showing.

Colby got the Cowboy Tough Award :)
 We ate a yummy brunch.
And played a swivel stick game, although I'm sure that isn't the name of it...  Camille and I were not very good at it!
The kids made yarn dolls, more the adults did the making and the kids did the bossing.
 Colby's yarn man...
We hit hula hoops with sticks to chase them around.  I was actually fairly good at it.  Not good enough to take a picture of myself at the same time, though ;)
There were lots and lots of pony cart rides going on.  Thank goodness for Papa's minis Molly and Shortcake, they were troopers on a very hot Pioneer Day!
Papa brought his covered wagon, inherited from my Grandpa Robison.  This was before they put the canvas on.  Pretty special to have an authentic wagon there, even more special that it was from my family.
