Earrings!!!

Kyle has been trying to talk Maci into earrings for quite a while now.  She wants them until we actually get going to the store, then she chickens out.  Finally we decided to just take her and get it over with.  She cried a little at first when we got to the store, then Kyle talked her down.  She picked "diamonds" just like Mommy's.

 She wanted to sit on Daddy's lap and was very brave as they cleaned her ears.

 I'm ready, this is fun!

 First one...

 It took a minute for reality to set in, then she cried!  We were really wishing they had 2 employees that day, but no such luck.  One at a time is a little more difficult.

 I took a picture of the earring on the one side to show her how pretty it was in order to talk her into doing the other ear.

 Let's do this!

 Almost immediately after it was over she was a happy camper and wanted to show everyone her beautiful earrings.

 

 My baby girl is not such a baby anymore...
