Colby's First Baseball Game 2015 Season

It's that time of year again!  Baseball!

Colby is on the Cardinals this year.  He is excited and loving it!  They've already been practicing for a month and they had their first game this weekend.

 He played shortstop and did a good job.  Not too much action.

His first hit!  It was a little messy, but he made it on base :)

 To our utter shock and surprise, one of the last innings we looked on the field and he was standing on the pitcher's mound.  He's never practiced pitching or been taught how.  The coach just asked him if he wanted to try and he was all for it!  Ok, here we go!

Not perfect, but for never having done it, he did alright.  He was pretty excited that he got to try!

 It should be a fun season.  I'm looking forward to seeing him learn and improve - maybe even become a decent pitcher ;)
