Our first stop was California Adventure. The only thing we forgot to pack was a hat for Colby, so that was his souvenier...
A Bug's Land:
Getting ready to watch the 3D Bug Movie with his 3D glasses - he was excited before we went in...
Then the movie started and FREAKED him out! We exited the theater after about 2 minutes. Poor guy got pretty scared! Maybe next time...Onto more kid-friendly things! Waiting in line for the carousel:
Up and down and round and round!
Riding high in the sky on the Mickey Ferris Wheel.

And finally Playhouse Disney Live on Stage! This was probably his favorite part of the day - or maybe even the whole trip!
His favorite part was the leaves falling from the ceiling...
Wiped out after tons of excitement! Time for a break! Our hotel was right across the street from the entrance, so it made for easy rest stops.
After a rest and some dinner, we headed to Disneyland to check out the lights. The castle had a music show and snow, pretty cool.
But the most amazing lights were on It's a Small World. They had a whole light show going on and it was very impressive! 
We watched the fireworks show...
Then headed back to rest up for another day of fun!

We were the first ones in line for It's a Small World - he wasn't so sure about it at first, but I know he liked it because he kept singing the song for weeks afterwards.
Then we hit every little kid ride in the park - the lines weren't too bad and Colby was very patient. Daddy just had to go on the teacups and I reluctantly agreed...
Kyle and Colby thought it was pretty funny to spin them super fast and make Mommy sick!
The second time I made them go by themselves!
Another carousel ride...
Then we went to Mickey's ToonTown and met Goofy. Colby wouldn't let go! 
And we also met Mickey Mouse...
Going to Chip and Dale's Treehouse...
Donald's Boat...
Onto Adventure Land for Jungle Tours - Colby wasn't scared - he wanted to get off the boat and go touch all the animals :-)
Finally after hitting every ride and walking around for ever we took a seat to watch the Christmas Parade.
It was worth the wait.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I haven't been to Disneyland since Grad Nite a couple years ago...
