Living Nativity
Every year since I can remember there being a Christmas, we have gone to Riverdale to the Living Nativity. It is a tradition that I remember and that I look forward to each December. We are carrying on the tradition with Colby and this year he got excited about it, too.

Cesar Augustus making the decree (please forgive the photos - they were taken from the car in the dark...)
Live camels and other appropriate animals roam around...
The city of Bethlehem. The people actually are baking bread, making candles, throwing pots on wheels, weaving blankets, doing blacksmith work, etc. Colby even got a taste of fresh baked bread from one of the merchants - yum!
