A Very Merry Christmas

We had a very full and very blessed Christmas this year. After Colby was in bed on Christmas Eve, Santa laid out his presents with care (and Mommy & Daddy's too)...
When he woke up in the morning, he rushed into the living room with excitement!
His first words when he saw the presents were, "Santa came down the chimney and brought me a TOOLBENCH?!?" He was a little excited about that gift :-)
And he liked the Super-Colby cape mommy got him, too I guess.
He didn't want to stop "working," but we were able to convince him that Santa left one more present in the backyard because it was to big to fit under the tree...
"Santa brought me a SWINGSET!!"

These moments are priceless!
Then we got dressed and headed to the Medeiros' for more Christmas fun.
He was a bit overwhelmed with the chaos that ensued there. I didn't take many pictures because of the chaos. Here's our attempt to take a picture of all the kids in their capes - didn't work out so well!
We headed home to play with toys he had gotten there. The one he most urgently wanted out of the box was his new Thomas the Train set with a remote control.
A very SHORT nap, then on to the Robison's. Again, not a lot of pictures because of mass chaos! Nana and Papa bought the kids a new ride-on toy for the fleet...
It goes super fast, and all the kids loved it! They also never get tired of the old ones...

And to get away from the chaos of it all, Colby kept himself occupied at last year's gift - the train table.
It definitely was a little much for one day and we all got way more than we deserve, but we are so grateful to have family to share the holidays with. Even with all of the excitement and wrapping and food, the best part of it all is spending time all together, because that doesn't happen often enough. Merry Christmas!
