Maci 14 Months

Oh, Maci Girl.
Mommy has been a major slacker keeping up your baby book and recording all of your life's moments.  This blog is all I really keep up with these days and I'm not even doing that how I would like to.  You keep me BUSY!
Our little one is 14 months old!!
You stopped nursing at 12.5 months (a little unwillingly, but Mommy couldn't handle you waking up every hour at night to nurse anymore).  We had lots of milk stored, and that lasted you up until 13.5 months.  You LOVE to eat.  Especially fruits and meat.  Vegetables are not your friends - yet.  Currently, you're having some tummy issues and we are testing for an allergy to dairy.  2 weeks with NO DAIRY is hard!  We are praying that is not the cause of the issue because you love your milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.
You finally decided that walking was an ok thing to do on May 19 (just over 13 months old).  And you took to it pretty quick because now you don't stop!
You love to go outside and are constantly grabbing your shoes and whoever's hat you can find.  You say, "Shoes, hat, ou-side!"  It's pretty adorable.
Other words you like to say... Dada, Mama, Papa, Nana, Gama, Bubba, No, Bite, Pepi (for Pepsi - hmmmm, wonder who taught you that one!), Pup, Bock-Bock (chickens), Ta-Ta (Tubby), Apple, Juice, Hi and Bye.  The Hi and Bye come with a wave, and you will grab any phone you can find to say Hi to. :)
You make silly faces.  One of which is this one:
You get into every cabinet, drawer, toy, book, bag, purse - anything you can get your hands into.
You like to climb, especially up onto chairs and couches.  You get this super proud look on your face when your successful and like to sit back and lounge like you are the queen of the living room!
You are a bit of a cry-baby.  And I'm not sure if all of it is genuine.  In fact, I know that your faking it sometimes just to get some attention or get your brother in trouble!  We are trying to teach you to toughen up a little bit, but you like to bring drama into every situation.
You love to dance.  When you hear music of any kind, you perk up and start moving.  It always starts with a head bob, then the rest of your body starts to bounce and move too.  You've got rhythm girl!
You don't like to hear the word "No."  Actually, you flat out ignore it in almost every situation.  It's a tough lesson to learn that you can't get what you want 100% of the time.
You are a growing girl.  23 lb and 31 in.  Papa still calls you thunder thighs and Daddy still comments lovingly on your round figure.  I say flaunt it while you still can!
WE LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!
