Remember playing with GAK???
I remember getting it in those little plastic egg things as a kid.
Saw the recipe on pinterest and decided to try it out for our playdate with Cami.
All you need is:
Elmer's glue (we used clear but white works as well)
Food coloring - add to glue and mix before adding the next ingredient.
Liquid starch - the recipe calls for equal parts glue and starch. We just added a little at a time and mixed until we got the consistency we wanted. No idea if it was equal parts or not!
Watch it streeeeeeetch.
Cami's turn...
This kept them entertained for a looooong time :)
Elisabeth figured out how to blow bubbles with it!
Maci got in on the fun, too.
Warning - it is STICKY!
It will cling to any fabric it touches - thus why Colby ended up shirt-less.
But, it did come out in the wash without a problem and didn't stain.
It was nice to let me experience and squish. Much different than play dough!
We stored it in a tupperware container and it is still going strong several weeks later.

it is so rare to see a pic of myself that I almost don't recognize me. Fun stuff!
