Meet Oreo (the black and white one), Henny Penny (the copper one on the right), Chickadee (the dark brown one in the middle) and Harriet hiding behind.
We call the rooster Robin Hood. I was a little worried about him being too noisy or aggressive (as these are right behind our back fence), but luckily we don't hear him too much and he's pretty tame so far. Colby goes in the coop often and he doesn't seem to mind at all. 
Not the greatest pictures, but I'll get more later. Colby is doing well with them so far. It is his responsibility to feed and water them every day and he doesn't forget. The hens are just about old enough to start laying so hopefully we'll have some farm fresh eggs to eat soon!

Farm fresh eggs, arent they the best? Love the chickens. We had a roo like that named Sir Frances, Sir Frances went to freezer camp. He was really sweet and turned into onriness so off to freezer camp. The kids process(freezer camp) all of our chickens. We have a large flock. Most of ours we hatched out and all are very rare not found in a hatchery. Thanks for sharing. The kids also have dairy goats and love making homemade cheese from their goat milk.Your kids are beautiful. Take care cousin. Jami Robison
OMG, Bryce is so jealous. He wants chickens so bad, but there's no way in an apartment!!
