Glasses

Colby reads A LOT.  Sometimes for a few hours straight.  He reads a few chapter books per week.  His teacher tested his reading level and he is at a 4th grade level in the 1st grade.

Lately he has been complaining of headaches, so I decided to get his eyes checked.  When I took him to the eye doctor she said his eyes were just fine, but reading so much was putting a strain on them.  She prescribed some glasses with just a slight magnification to ease the burden on his overworked eyes.

The glasses came in today and I think he looks pretty cute.  He loves to wear them and wants to do so at all times.  I have to remind him that they are just for reading, not for playing.
