Birthday Roundup at the Happy M Ranch

We had a cowgirl photoshoot at Nana's house to prepare for Maci's cowgirl birthday party.

 We even saddled up their mini-horse.  Maci was in love.

And here's how the invitation turned out!

 We had a lot of fun getting ready for this party.

"This ain't my first rodeo...

 ...it's my 2nd!" 

Bandanas and cinnamon & sugar almonds to greet the guests.

 We decorated with lots of flowers and bandanas and denim.  Turned out cute!

 And some yummy beef jerky for the tables.

Welcome to the Happy M Ranch Chuck Wagon!  We ate tri-tip sandwiches, ranch style beans, horse carrots and ranch, fruit salad, and chicken salad.

And yummy strawberry lemonade to drink!

A big hit at the party was the "Wanted" photo booth!

Even the treehouse got dressed up for the party.

 Kyle got the flu the day of the party so he actually missed most of it lying on the couch.  He did make an appearance to tend the fire for a little while though.  Poor guy.

And this is what happens when Mommy is in charge of "making" the cake.  A store bought plain chocolate cake with some added writing and a horse stuck on top.

 Mmmmm.... we also enjoyed warm peach cobbler, chocolate cheesecake dessert and ice cream.

 I wanted her to say thank you to everyone for all of her presents, but she got a little nervous.  It's her party and she'll cry if she wants to!
