SURPRISE!

Jimmy called a while ago and said he wanted to surprise Cara with a party for her 30th birthday.  Great idea!  We all pitched in a little and tried to keep it a secret.  My mom kept her away from the house on a shopping trip while we decorated and Jimmy cooked up some yummy barbecue.

We almost had to spill the beans when Cara didn't want to stop shopping.  She called Jimmy and told him to just meet her in town for dinner because she wanted to keep shopping with my mom!  Somehow they managed to break her away from the stores and get her home to a house full of family.

SURPRISE!

 I made her the "30 Sucks" bouquet of suckers.  Hehehe.

 Camille made little paper flowers and we spread them throughout the house.  They each said something on them that Cara does.  Sister, friend, psychiatrist, laundress, dance partner, taxi driver, nurse, gardener, chef, personal shopper, etc.  We probably put up about 50 or more flowers!  Cara gets pulled in so many directions!

 Camille also made the BIG 30 poster with pictures of Cara...

 The ribs and chicken were soooo yummy.  Maci scarfed them down then was ready for more!

 Did someone say cake?

Christa made the perfect "30" cake for the celebration.

I couldn't ask for a better sister.  So glad that Jimmy planned this out and that we were able to pull it off!  She deserved every minute of it!
