Colby's First Primary Talk

Colby gave his first ever talk in Primary today.  I forgot to take my camera to church, so I didn't get a picture or a video of it, but it was cute.  He spoke about following the prophet.

He started by holding up road signs (stop sign, curve, wrong way, pedestrian crossing).
"Road signs help our Mommy's and Daddy's drive home safely.  This sign tells them when to stop, this sign tells them when they're going the WRONG WAY!  This sign tells them when to turn and this sign tells them when someone is going to cross the street."
"Heavenly Father gives us prophets to help us return home to Him safely.  Our primary songs help us remember to follow the prophet."
Then he sang the last verse to "Follow The Prophet" all by himself.
"Now we have a world where people are confused.
If you don't believe it - go and watch the news.
We can get direction all along our way.
If we heed the prophets - follow what they say.
Follow the prophet, follow the prophet,
Follow the prophet, don't go astray.
Follow the prophet, follow the prophet,
Follow the prophet, he knows the way!"

He talked very quietly, but got it all out and sang the song all by himself.  I was a proud Mama!
