Noodler

I've been wanting to try this activity for a while now.  What fun we had with a package of spaghetti noodles!

First, cook 1 lb. of spaghetti noodles.  Add 1/2 cup oil to the water.  Strain and cool in bowls.

 Add some food coloring...

 Mix it up!

 Now play with it!  First, we did some letter practice.  Colby traced the letters with noodles.  Honestly, he didn't even make it through half the alphabet before he got frustrated with this, so we moved on to other things.

 Like cutting...

 And he used the noodles to paint with!

 My favorite part was the colorful plate of "used noodles."

 And I also loved the cute little onlooker.

Good. Cheap. Fun.
