New pets ... Ew.

Colby really likes putting bugs into his bug catcher.  We caught a cricket the other day for him to examine.  He wanted to know more about crickets so I did a quick google search and discovered that you can actually make a little cricket habitat and keep them as a pet.  It seemed like a good idea at the time...

Then it chirped all night long!  He's already attached and does not want to let Mr. Hoppity go.  Hoping that crickets have a short life span...

A day or two later, Kyle brought Maci a caterpillar.  Appropriate because her favorite book ever is The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Guess we better make another insect home for Candy Caterpillar...
