Since Colby was so thrilled with the chicken coop and gathering eggs while we were in Oregon, Kyle decided it was time to build our own chicken coop. And here it is!
We still need to get a feeder and water bowl, and of course the chickens, but Colby is already getting pretty excited! Nana and Papa want to bring the chickens for Colby when they come in a few weeks, so we're ready for them! Colby is already practicing gathering the eggs...
In other news, our pumpkin patch has exploded! The plants have really taken off in the last few weeks and there are some mighty big pumpkins already.
Although most of the pumpkins are hidden underneath all of the leaves. You can kind of see this big one that Colby is standing by...
Does anyone know how to store pumpkins? I think we are going to have some ripe before the Halloween season, so I want to be able to store them until then without them getting all rotten and mushy. We are going to have a ton of them!
