For Camille's birthday and Mother's Day, my family got a house at the beach for the weekend. We were only able to go up for the day, but we had a great time. The house was about a block away from the water, so we went back and forth as we felt like it. It was cold and windy, but the kids didn't seem to mind at all.

Colby went straight for the water in the morning and fell in it! He thought it was fun at the time, but when we went back in the afternoon he was having no part of that. I guess he didn't want to be cold again. But he still wanted to be near the water, so he held on tight to Kyle as he waded in the waves. I never even let the water touch my feet - Maci was a good excuse to just hang out on the beach blanket and stay warm!
