Good Friday - AKA Easter Day #1 of 3

We had 3 days filled with egg hunts and eating and prizes and candy.  Whew!  It was a little exhausting to be honest, but the kids definitely knew that it was Easter.

Auntie Christa had to work on Easter this year and didn't want to miss the kids hunting eggs, so her and Cody hosted a yummy breakfast and egg hunt.

Maci and Kayden are getting to be such big girls!

 The other three haven't stopped growing either, despite our pleas for them to slow down.

 And before you know it they've already scoured the yard and are ready to eat the spoils!

 Afterwards, we went home and Maci couldn't even make it through her lunch...  Rough day!

 While sister slept, we started in on some eggs.  These ones got painted with golden/metallic looking hues.

 I really liked the way the colors turned out.  Although the painting method was a little messy.
