Easter #2 was at Nana and Papa Robison's house on Saturday.
Nana has a history of having a fun easter egg hunt and picnic every other year or so where she invites lots of friends and family and the Easter Bunny comes and it's a great time! This year, she decided to go smaller and just have our family there. "I'm not going to make it a big deal, just a nice lunch and egg hunt for the kids." This is what really happened...
Nice yummy lunch, check!
Finnley is 8 months old :)
Fruit dip on your face, check!
After lunch, Nana had prepared some games for the kids to play while the rest of us hid the eggs. The kids could earn "Bunny Bucks" for playing the games.
First up, Don't Eat Hoppy!
Egg rolling...
Egg tossing...
and Easter Bingo! (I may have missed a game or two).
The kids loved playing the games, but were ultimately most excited about the Easter egg hunt. Nana had gotten them all baskets to put their spoils in...
Ready, set, go!
They looked high...
and low...
and all around!
Probably 200+ eggs split between 7 kids!
Maci even found some by the horsies :)
Colby was happy with his basket - oh yeah there were also more "Bunny Bucks" hidden around the yard.
They all came in to assess their findings.
Show me the money!
"Bunny Bucks! But what are they for?"
The bunny store!
Yep, they each took turns going to the bunny store with their "Bunny Bucks" and shopped for more goodies!! Nana had priced each prize and they had to decide what they wanted with the bucks they had.
I'll take one of those, please!
Happy kiddos!
Yep, not a big deal, just a nice lunch and picnic with the kids for Easter. Asher described it as the "best Easter of the whole year!" I would have to agree :)
These kids are lucky to have you, Nana!
