The calf ranch that we used to send our calves to decided to shut down, so instead of finding a new one we opted to raise our own. It's a little more work, but will save us some money, which is definitely a plus for our very small but growing dairy.
Ok, aren't they just the cutest things???
We bought new calf hutches to keep them nice and cozy in.
Each day we (mostly Kyle) give them new grain, water and a bottle of milk twice a day.
The kids love it.
Maci thinks she's a professional. She's saying, "Cow! You want it?"
