Choo Choo! Look Who's 2!

We had a fun train party for Colby's birthday. He was very excited! Here is his first look at the awesome cake that Auntie Christa made for him...
There was marble, banana nut, white and chocolate cakes complete with edible rocks and gravel. They were delicious!

The kids always love to play in the sandbox.

Then it was time for the main event - the TRAIN!!!
Kyle built this himself. Welded the metal frames and attached the wheels, then cut plastic barrels and painted them. We attached wood cut-outs of a train engine to the quad and bam - there's a choo choo train! The kids had a blast on it, of course.

Next up, presents! Colby got a ton of great gifts and there is not one that he doesn't love to play with :-)

Then for the grand finale - the cake!

Definitely a lot of work to get together, but well worth it. The kids had fun, Colby had fun, the weather cooperated and it was a great day! Just can't believe my baby is 2!
