Hippity Hoppity Happy Easter Day!

Here comes Peter Cottontail!

Hoppin' down the bunny trail!

Look at him stop and listen to him say,

"Try to do the things you should,

And maybe if you're extra good,

I'll bring lots of Easter treats your way!"

Colby was really into Easter this year. We prepared by reading Easter books all week and working on our bunny hop. By the time Easter came, Colby was pretty excited!

Cousin Ty got a cool golf set - but Colby wanted to play with it all day instead.

The cold kept us mostly inside, so we did an indoor Easter egg hunt at Bamma and Papa Medeiros'

The Easter Bunny brought Colby a Sit 'N' Spin - he figured out how to do it right away and he loves it!

It was really cold and windy today - not the typical Easter we expect here, but we hunted for eggs outside anyway! Colby was a very good egg-finder.

And he was especially interested when he figured out that mommy put bunny-shaped marshmallows, toy cars and goldfish inside them!

"Mom, I know I look cute in my Wranglers, but STOP taking pictures of me!"
