Little Sparklers

As is tradition around here, we spent the 3rd at my parents house and then headed down to the church to watch the big fireworks show.  I am supremely disappointed in my camera (actually in it's operator) for not being able to take any sort of a good picture in the dark.  So no pictures from that fun evening.  Both kids stayed awake for the whole show this year!  As usual, my mom brought glow sticks for all of the kiddos.  Honestly, they were more excited by those than the actual fireworks!

On the 4th, we went to the Medeiros side for a BBQ, swimming, and our own fireworks show!

 This wasn't even half of what we had set-up yet.  It took them forever just to get them all out of the packages!

Again, horrible night photos.  But we did have lots of fun!  Maci wasn't afraid of the fireworks at all and we had to hold her the whole time to keep her from running at them and trying to grab them.  Crazy girl!  Colby was mesmerized and wanted to help Daddy light them all.  Ty wanted Kyle to light them and throw them at Papa!
