Pumpkin Art

For play day we went with a pumpkin theme. First we read a few pumpkin books...
Then for the project. Start with sandpaper cut into shapes (pumpkins, for us).

Color it however you want... (the more pressure, the better we learned).

Make them beautiful, now...

Then place them face down on a paper.

Apply heat with an iron to transfer the wax from the crayon to the paper.

You have your very own pumpkin patch sandpaper art!
