We've been wanting to take Colby to the Aquarium for a while now, and what better time to do it than for our 5 year anniversary? ;)
There was a lot to look at. For Kyle and I, it was cool to see all of the fish and the open ocean exhibits. Colby didn't like to just look, and he wasn't too excited about the dark rooms...

Getting some light and fresh air. It was a really nice day.

Aha! Something that he could get into. Luckily, there are lots of hands on things for kids to do at the aquarium, otherwise it would have been a bust. Here's Colby practicing swimming with his flippers.

The ocean exhibits that were not dark he liked a little better...

I'm a fish!

Touching the sea creatures. At one point, he grabbed a starfish and threw it across the pool before Kyle and I could even do anything to stop him. We got a few glares for that one... He's really a nice boy, just a little too much testosterone sometimes!

Checking out the boats through the telescope.

Hello there little fishy...

Say Clam! Cute picture, if you take away the fact that he has Maci in a choke-hold.

The aquarium really wore Colby out. We walked down the street to Bubba Gumps for some delicious shrimp, and he slept through the whole thing.

We ended up getting him a happy meal on the way to the beach.

He dug in the dirt and wore himself out a little more.

Then it was time to say goodbye and head back home.
It's so great to live so close to the ocean. I personally hate getting in the water, but breathing the fresh air and feeling the wind is a pretty nice thing every once in a while.
