Oregon

Last week we took a very short trip up to Oregon to visit "Great-Nana" and "Big-Papa" (aka Kyle's grandparents).
Luckily it wasn't snowing. It was sunny, but still not as warm as we're used to in California! But of course we spent lots of time outside on the ranch exploring.

Colby LOVED the chickens. He chased them around the yard saying "Bock! Bock! Bock!"

This boy ALWAYS has a rock in his hand if he is outside. When we got home, we discovered that Great-Nana had stashed his favorite rock from the ranch in one of our bags... Colby was excited with that discovery!

It ended up being a nice visit, despite the short durationa and the round of the stomach flu that hit us that week. Colby had it 2 days before, I had it the night we got there, and Kyle got it as soon as we got home...

On the 9 hour drive home, we had to stop a few times so Colby didn't go crazy. One of them was at the Bass Pro Shop, which Colby and Daddy were both very happy with!
