The Last Days of Summer

It's still hotter than hot outside, so I guess summer is far from being over, but in my mind the end of August marks the last days of summer. Funny how even though we don't have anyone in school, this time of year marks a change without anything changing! Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks...
Colby loves being outside and playing with water. Here's a picture before we broke out the hose and got totally soaked - no pictures after, unfortunately!Last week an old roommate of mine from BYU-I came by for a short visit. We were so happy to see Adrienne, her sister Jessica, and her adorable little girl Ollie! Colby pushed Ollie around in his Around We Go! and the two of them had a pretty fun time! There's only about 5 weeks between them so it was a lot of fun to let them play together.
Here's one of Colby helping Daddy with the field work. He's already a good little tractor driver. Whether it's the real thing or his toys at home, he is absolutely enthralled in tractor work.
He tries to say "tractor" but all that comes out is "ta-ta." That's pretty close! It's so interesting how at such a young age, he's already totally interested in all the typical boy stuff. That makes his Daddy happy!
Bring on the fall - I'm ready for cooler weather!
