Pumpkin Day!

First we have to CLEAN the pumpkins. 

Colby didn't think that was great, but he did it...

 Maci liked the "goop."

 Mmmmm pumpkin seeds.

 Next step - CARVE.

I let the kids draw on their own faces and then I carved them.

 Ooooo, scary!

 How about we PAINT?

 What else can we try?  Hey how about POWER TOOLS?!?

 The kids loved drilling different sized holes in their pumpkins.  Colby was very methodical and drilled the shape of a jack-o-lantern face.  Maci just drilled a hole wherever the drill landed!

 They were pretty proud of the results.
